Since September 9, 2020 we have been using the Permitium program to provide the most efficient way of processing gun permit applications.
We ask that anyone who has submitted a License To Carry application through the Permitum site log into Permitium and check the status of their application, if they have not already heard from us. To Log in, go to MontgomeryPa.Permitium.com/ccw/start . Go to ORDER TRACKER in the black bar at the top of the home page. To log in, you will need your Order Number, the Password you made up when you filed the application and the Email Address you used at that time. If you do not remember the Password, use the Reset Password Link on that page. Permitium will email you a new password in about 15 minutes or so. Use that password to log on. Once you get to the application status, if it says PERMIT APPROVED, we are waiting for you to schedule an appointment which is also done on this site. If it says PENDING ADDITIONAL INFO, we are waiting on info from you to proceed. Usually that is a change of address card from PADOT or an updated driver’s license which can both be uploaded into this site. Please DO NOT call the office for any of this information.
